Whatever speculation exists regarding Brandon Aiyuk’s future, the noise continues to point toward the Washington Commanders as his next stop.
The fascinating part of the rumors is that they appear to be forming without Aiyuk’s input.
“Nobody has heard from him,” one team’s general manager told Last Man Standig this week. “Nobody’s talked to the kid.”

“Nobody” covers a lot of territory in that quote, but some version of that response has come up in conversations with league sources dating back to March.
That same month, Aiyuk’s personal receivers coach, former NFLer T.J. Houshmandzadeh, said the two had not spoken in “a while.”
Aiyuk was around the 49ers while rehabbing a significant 2024 knee injury, but San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said in December, “We haven’t seen him in forever.”
Radio silence has remained across all known channels — save for four Instagram posts since November. One source said it’s unclear when Aiyuk last spoke with a representative from his agency of record, Athletes First.
