2026 NFL Mock Draft 3.0: Two rounds, Combine questions
What we hope to learn at this week's NFL Scouting Combine with specific bent on the Commanders including Edge measurables, QB Ty Simpson's stock and top 10 wide receivers.
INDIANAPOLIS — The NFL Scouting Combine is the place for answers.
At least that’s what 32 teams hope to find roughly two months before the annual NFL Draft. The Washington Commanders certainly need more clarity for their thin roster. Until next month’s free agency, every position outside of quarterback and perhaps the offensive line should be in play with the seventh overall pick.
The board sets up nicely based on need, but some holes require more attention than others. Trading down for additional picks would be enticing for a team with only two in the top 100. That scenario, of course, requires a willing partner.
This is my third 2026 NFL mock draft, but the first with two rounds (and a bonus Commanders pick). Better information from this week would sharpen the projections and clarify where Washington might realistically land.
