Guard Chris Paul, lined up in front of Marcus Mariota during Week 3’s win over the Raiders, is back with the Commanders

Based on fit, writing Rachaad White and Dyami Brown onto the Commanders’ depth chart felt inevitable for weeks. Following a breakout season, guard Chris Paul’s time in Ashburn appeared over, while quarterback Marcus Mariota’s future sat somewhere in between.

All four are now together.

Whether by design or circumstance, Washington’s offensive depth chart after the first wave of free agency looks far closer to its training camp blueprint than many expected.

Call it fate or a plan coming together for Washington’s front office. There are 11 incoming free agents as of Friday night, plus a handful of holdovers staying around. Collectively, these choices make it easier to see what this group looks like in training camp — if not Week 1.
